INDIANAPOLIS – Florida and Maine artist Hannah Ineson has designed a scarf for the Episcopal Church Women of the Diocese of Southwest Florida.
Episcopal Church Women representing the Diocese of Southwest Florida were all wearing the scarves to their 47th Triennial Meeting, which was held across the street from the General Convention at the Indianapolis Westin.
Ineson, whose husband the Rev. Mr. John H. Ineson is a seasonal winter associate at St. Mark’s Marco Island, created the design.
Lana Fitzgerald, new president of Episcopal Church Women of the Diocese and a parishioner at St. Mark’s, brought the scarves to General Convention. To create them, she found a maker who could have it printed on real silk.
Ineson is also the artist behind the Harriet Bedell Chapel at St. Mark’s. Bedell was an Episcopal Deaconess and missionary to Florida’s Seminoles and Miccosukees.
