Parish Nursing in Southwest Florida
The Diocese of Southwest Florida has an informal Parish Nurse ministry network.
Parish nursing in the Diocese of Southwest Florida takes a variety of approaches. This informal network of R.N.s and health professionals helps to educate parishioners and perform regular health screenings. In addition, Parish Nurses also help to train parishioners in CPR and ensure that medical supplies and defibrillators are working. Parish nurses also are a critical asset in the event of a natural disaster in Southwest Florida.
Below are some of the parish nurses and parishes with nursing programs, and/or the contact person.
