The Rev. Canon Chris Gray was raised in Orlando, FL, served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam, graduated from the University of Central Florida in 1976 with a B.A. degree and graduated from Nashotah House Seminary in 1979 with a MDiv.
Gray was rector of Grace Church, Port Orange, FL for 12 years. His first assistant priest was The Rev Dabney T. Smith. Gray then served as rector of St. Mark's, Venice for 19 years. Since his retirement in 2010 he is serving as a part time Development Officer for the Diocese of Southwest Florida. Canon Gray is married to Paula Gray and they have two grown children.
