Elementary Camp: 

Elementary-aged campers have a blast at DaySpring! Engaging in a host of classic camp activities campers spend their days participating in water sports like swimming, canoeing, kayaking, creating arts and crafts, being challenged on ropes courses or canopy tree climbing, and playing games like Wacky Olympics. Each evening Episcopal clergy, youth leaders, and counselors lead programs filled with singing and worship which strengthen both faith and friendships.

Our Camp Staff

Many of our counselors are previous campers! This dedicated and devoted staff prioritizes the safety, care, and spiritual life of each camper. Counselors are college-aged and junior counselors are high school upperclassmen. Each cabin and group of campers are supervised by two counselors and one junior counselor. Our staff are trained in CPR and First Aid and Keep/Watch (a faith-based suicide awareness and prevention program). All camp staff is also required to complete the Safeguarding God’s People program through The Episcopal Church. Additionally, we have certified lifeguards on duty at the pool and waterfront area.

Middle School Discovery 

Discovery Camp offers middle schoolers the opportunity to strengthen their creative, leadership, and environmental skills by cultivating unique areas of interest. Discovery camp offers creative tracts which include fishing, photography, outdoor survival, advanced arts and crafts, beginner guitar, and filmmaking. Campers will nurture their passions and further their relationship with God through these customized experiences. Each discovery tract will culminate in a final showcase of skills for parents and families at the closing session of camp

High School Discovery

This Discovery Camp offers high school teens a more intimate camp setting focused on strengthening their creative, leadership, and environmental interests. This session allows campers to nurture their passions through a discovery tract that includes fishing, photography, outdoor survival, advanced arts and crafts, and music while still enjoying traditional camp activities. Embracing a space for imagination and play, our teen campers further their relationship with God and the many ways faith can shape our lives. Camp will culminate in a final showcase of skills for parents and families at closing session.
