I found Haiti to be a country of great contrasts, great challenges, and great beauty. Upon arriving in Port-au-Prince at the airport, we immediately found ourselves thrust into the chaos of close urban life which I suspect can be found in many places, but was striking coming from Big Stone Gap, VA.
