Winter 2011

Fall 2011
Our newsletter was conceptualized and realized this October. This new publication will be printed quarterly, and we plan to distribute the first issue in time for October-November.
Here's a peek at what's in store:

St. Anselm's 50th anniversary as a parish was in April; a grand celebration in commemoration will be held on October 29th. Join us for Mass with Bishop Smith, followed by a catered luncheon. Tickets are $15.00.
We will have a Harvest Festival service on November 20th. Bring your fruits, veggies, or baked goods for sale after Mass! Fr. Algernon has promised to bake a sour cream cake for the bake sale. May God bless this endeavor :-).
Our ECW (Episcopal Church Women) chapter will have a bazaar/fair on 11/19/2011, in the parish hall. All fun, all day.
And DON'T FORGET: Thursday Eucharists with healing service have resumed, with bible study afterwards. There will be one 9:00 AM Mass on Thanksgiving Day.
WANTED: ideas for lively, contemporary worship songs. In light of the popularity of our recent gospel concert, parishioners have indicated a desire to add a few upbeat worship songs to (or before the start of) Sunday Mass. As always, a Caribbean flair will definitely be considered! You should see Karen Sutherland to help with this undertaking.
August 2011
"For we know that if our earthly house, this tent, is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens."
II Corinthians 5:1
